Restaurant Kornati Graz

Although the quality of food was good, but I’m extremely shocked by the personal of this restaurant or let’s they their process. The gave us 3 pieces of bread and 3 olives 🫒 which are very basics that didn’t cost even 1€, and we didn’t asked for that. Then when paying them we asked for 3 separate bills as we are 3 persons, guess what?? they charged us this bread 4,5€*3= 13,5€ which is alone the price of a whole dish !! that’s is not acceptable and I never saw that in any restaurant in any country I traveled in 3 different continents and no one told us that before. If I knew that information before I’ll never come to such restaurant who is good at taking customers money. I’m really sorry to give you a bad comment because you weren’t honest since the beginning, and as a tunisian citizen, I’m used to receive a lot of breads and toppings and sauce in every restaurant with bigger quality and for free, they even add us whenever we need and you for a very small piece of bread 🍞 you charge 13,5€ never seen that and won’t forgive you. I hope my comment will make it clear for people to expect that amount of extra payment it means if you are a family of 10 persons you will pay 45€ for 10 olives and 10 piece of small breads (it’s a shame isn’t!?)

BREATHTAKING PLACE WITH DELICIOUS SEAFOOD I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate Valentine’s day, and I just can say that we could not choose a better place for the romantic dinner. The whole place has such a nice atmosphere and beautiful interior. The service is clean 10! The staff were so polite and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for food and wine. Moreover, they spoke English. The food is just amazing. We ordered St. Jacob’s cap shell and catch of the day. The shell had such a rich flavour and delightful texture. I enjoyed each bite. The fish was also delicious and accompanied by tasty mashed potatoes. We shared one and it was just enough for both of us. However, the price matches the quality of service. Anyhow, it’s worth to come here and take joy in good food and atmosphere.

The restaurant is something unusual for Graz. First of all they serve mainly fish, then the atmosphere. I liked much the service, the tastes and the Croatian white wine. I would not put so much garlic in the spinach and I would have increase a little bit the size of the plates (e.g. octopus salad). Anyhow the way how they cook the fish is remarkable and original. There are not so many places so it is preferable to book in advance. On average 35-45€ per person.
